WebToonPool — Account & Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your account and all associated personal data at any time. We will process your request within 30 days. This page explains how to submit a request and exactly what happens to your data.

How to Request Deletion Recommended

  1. Open the WebToonPool app on your device.
  2. Go to your Profile (bottom navigation bar).
  3. Scroll down to the Actions section.
  4. Tap "Request Account Deletion".
  5. Enter your email address, optionally add a reason, tick the confirmation checkbox, and tap Submit.
  6. We will process your request within 30 days.

Can't Access the App? Alternative

  1. Send an email to support@webtoonpool.com.
  2. Use the subject line: Account Deletion Request.
  3. Include the email address or username associated with your account so we can locate it.
  4. We will confirm receipt and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What Happens to Your Data

Download history Deleted Stored locally on your device only — uninstalling the app removes it

Note: After anonymization your username becomes deleted_xxxxxxxx and your email becomes deleted_xxxxxxxx@deleted.invalid. This placeholder record is kept solely to preserve database integrity (e.g. comment thread structure). No real personal information remains.

Automatic Log Deletion

Even without a deletion request, API request logs are automatically purged after 90 days. This happens in the background daily with no action required from you.
